I have added a link to the World Coin Blog page...

Nothing much to speak of, save rain. Got lots of that. Like to send it elsewhere...
Chickens are in the barn. The look like a bunch of nuns to me. They are all girls. They make lots of noise. They have funny headresses. At least they don't cover up for the sins of the rooster...
The chickens are not going to live in my domicile for much longer. Soon the weather will warm up and they will move to their new pen by the barn. Yesterday, I stepped up on to the stoop by the room in the barn which will be the coop. Lovely old stoop. Boards are a foor wide. They were old boards, and I am a hefty guy. I punched right through. Now I get to rebuild it with new boards.
We got chickens - 7 Polish Crested Hens. They are still chicks, and have taken up residence in the back bedroom under a heat lamp. The cats have no idea that some lovely 6 bite poultry is in the house. Meanwhile my life has devolved back to the old country, where farm animals shared the roof with the family.
My heart goes out to the people of Japan. Their courage and civility in the face of horrible circumstances is beyond admirable. Even though they are capable of picking themselves up and setting things right by themselves, something in me still wants to help.
It's been a week. For all intents and purposes, I am about the same as before the surgery. By this, I mean the knee hurts, but I am walking around. I was well enough to hit a job interview on Tuesday, but it cost me big time in terms of energy. Today I was back up on a stepladder changing out smoke detectors.
It's been almost a day. Very stiff and sore. Some most excellent opioids are helping. Been spending the down-time re-reading the Ian Douglas first trilogy of Marine Mil-Sci. My daughter and son-in-law are Marines (Once a Marine, always a Marine.) Douglas appears to have Jarhead culture nailed. I highly recommend "Luna Marine." I'd give you a link, but I am just too bagged...
Here's an update, for what it is worth. Just got the knee scoped out. It went well. There was a partial tear of the meniscus and a lot of inflamation. I am feeling OK and believe I will make a full recovery. I am now going to put my butt in bed and rest. I shipped most of the orders yesterday. Sorry BV, not yours. It'll go on or by Monday. Thanks for stopping by...
